Gossamer Blue Layouts 3 and 4

The patchwork of my heart will always be intertwined with these three children.  Even when they don't want to be.  I hold firmly to Christ's promise in Isaiah 49:25.....For I will contend with him who contends with you, AND I WILL SAVE YOUR CHILDREN.  I pray cessingly for these beautiful, precious souls.

My last Gossamer Blue page is just a sneak, because I have to get better pictures of it.  The absolute best thing, for me, with scrapbook kits, is that it forces me to try new things "outside the box" and I LOVE it!!  I love the way these 4 pages turned out.

Fun times at Jubilee Lake....

This next page is for Inspired Blueprints....http://www.inspiredblueprints.com/

Happy Sunday!!

I am so glad to be feeling better!

Ugh.  I am so done with this knee trouble.  A couple years ago, I felt a pinch, just like a tweak, while going up the stairs...nothing more.  I didn't twist, turn or do anything odd to it, but a little pinch.  It didn't get better, so I go to the doctor 4 months later.  It was the doctor's opinion that I tore my meniscus--and its ended up being so much more...I have "divots" and this is the 5th surgery to try and fix it.  It hopefully is the second to the last surgery.  They did a biopsy, and are trying to grow new cells (in Boston) to inject in my knee (new technology is so cool)--maybe in December or January. Or next December.  This surgery has been so much harder to come back from.  I expected to be up and back to normal in a couple days, and actually, as of Saturday, feel better.

On to bigger and much better things!
Inspired Blueprints!  I love this website, and use it to create new pages.  Here is the sketch:

Here is what I did with it:

I love this picture of my precious daughter, Jennifer.  She is magical.  I've been challenging myself to use my stockpile of treasures...which I used the plastic flowers from Queen and Co, and the plastic hearts from Heidi Swapp (I love these---wish I has a couple dozen more of them!) and treasures from Studio Calico.

What I learned-- :) -- this page came together, in like an hour.  When I initially got the email from Inspired Blueprints (http://www.inspiredblueprints.com/) I tried to force an idea, and it really didn't turn out.  I think the combination of being in more pain than I expected, not recovering as I had anticipated, and being frustrated that I couldn't pull it together like I wanted... I finally set it down, and came back, scrapped the original page, and started fresh.  Helped alot that I got new treasures from Studio Calico.  Nothing like a box of fun to help the creative process along!

I go back to work on Tuesday, and I hope to be posting a couple more pages as well...Getting ready to watch the DaBears whoop up on some Steelers!  GoBears!!!!

Gossamer Blue

Here is my first page made with Gossamer Blue's Main Kit and Life Pages.  I loved the colors...And these pictures are two of my most favorite pictures.  Never have I loved a dog more than I have loved more than this sweet dachshund, Jeffery Michael Gordon.  I think its wrong...(my tag) it should of read MOMMA loves Jeffery!!

This is the second page I did with the kits.  I LOVE this picture of Jennifer, almost as much as I hate it of me.  Her smile could light cities, this sweet child of mine.  I love the colors, and of course, I LOVE banners.  Any kind of banners.  I used the washy tape as the string to hang the banner from...love the pops of color.

Happy Birthday!

To me....yeah, well, uhhh....its one of THOSE birthdays...not quite 50, but certainly pushing the big one around!!!  So. For my birthday MY MOTHER.....sends me this.......

When I call her to say,uhh thanks???  She "smarty-pants" says to me...."Oh.  I just got home from the store from getting your card".....Ha. ha.ha.ha.  Oh. My. Mother.
My mom and dad, BOTH have an amazing sense of humor....LOVE them so much.  So grateful that theyve  always been in my corner--even when I should of been sitting in the corner!!

So thanks, Mom, Dad...for the almosta nifty card!!  Or to put it like your grand-daughter....well. I liked the envelope, but NOT the card!!  BAHAHAHAHA!!!  Love those kids!!!

Its been a really rough couple weeks, and I know that the enemy (satan) has been prowling, relentlessly after me.....I will be so happy (I'm not sure happy quite covers it), when the Lord comes in the clouds of glory.  And He WILL wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither  sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.  Rev 21:4

I just spent the last 20 minutes talking to a sweet friend.  He is in a bad spot....discouraged, and please, friend, pray for this precious, precious child.  Thank you.

First "Project Life" Pages!

So....I am a collector. I don't like to "use" my stuff (I know, its an illness!), and I have to say, Project Life has been interesting...even IRRITATING to me.  Why?  22 years ago, I had a baby boy.  And Hallmark sold the same type of picture file holders, like what Project Life is doing now.  I did both my boy's baby books, and first several years of life in the "Project Life" Style...but when scrapbooking really took off, and specific pages were made, I totally pulled the boy's books apart to "do it right".  Grrrr....Oh well.  Needless to say, my before pages were nothing as cool as what Project Life is now...and I am always so hard on myself, with my creative, has to be perfect, work...Here is my first go (again) around with Project Life.  I loved how it turned out. LOVE IT!!!  It is difficult to photograph, though...

Isn't she beautiful?  Oh my.  So in love with this girl.

Happy Labor Day!
I have to say, it is one on my most favorite pages that I have done!
And, I am my own worst enemy! :0)  It could be that, it is one of my favorite things to scrapbook...My beautiful daughter Jennifer Nicole.  She got her first lolly pop, just before she turned one. And the Project Life saying...(from Studio Calico) Hello perfection...Well. Yes. Yes she is!!!
